Split Images - February Mood Board

Hello Kennedy Grace Family!
It's Donna here, and we've been sweltering here in Southern Australia. So what a delight it is to have such a beautiful cool mood board to work with.
I've chosen the flags as my inspiration and have tried to recreate some of the look of them on my card.

I cut several tags using a die in my stash, then laid them on a piece of scrap paper, attaching them with repositional adhesive with just the same spacing as I wanted on the card. I placed this in my MISTI stamping tool and stamped the gorgeous rose image from the Just a Rose stamp set across the tags in clear ink. I then heat embossed in white. I placed a mask over this rose and the stamped one of the images from Grace's Little Note in two different places and heat embossed it as before. The sentiment comes from the same stamp set.
Once the stamping was done, I moved the banners to my card base, and attached them with foam tape.
The final touch? Sequins of course! I picked these sequins out of a few different sets, and was really pleased to see that I had something to match every banner. The sequin sets I used were:

Have you thought about having a play with this lovely mood board?
We'd love to see what you create!

Until next time, may your days be warm and your friendships even warmer.

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
