Pink Love

Happy Sunday!

Today I am super excited to share my first post as a designer for Kennedy Grace, so honored to have the opportunity to share my designs with you and to work with an amazing team.

This month we decided to use the color pink in our projects, to help raising awareness about Breast Cancer, unfortunately my family has been way to close to it, since my aunt ( my mom's twin) passed earlier this year from Breast Cancer and I know as a fact she was not the kind of person that would do the auto exam or go to the doctor, no day have passed that I haven't missed her, so please, please I beg you to check your breasts regularly, I will leave you the link here where you can find more information on how to do it, I know it may be scary, but finding it on time can make a huge difference!

Lowering your risk of breast cancer

For this project, I decided to do something different, I decided to decorate the cover of my calligraphy Moleskine book, to start I wrote my name with my calligraphy nib and white ink, using as a model my calligraphy teacher handwriting, then I stamped on versamark the beautiful bouquet from the Grace's Little Note stamp set on vellum and emboss it with Hero Arts white embossing powder, colored it with tombow markers on the back and fussy cut my images.

Here is a closer look of my project

Big Hugs to all!

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
