Hi! It's Rachel from RBergfeld Card Designs with another Copic colored clean and simple card.

I started my card by cutting a panel of Neenah Solar White cardstock with a stitched edge die. (All supplies are listed at the bottom of the post.) I used my MISTI to stamp my floral image from Grace's Little Notes to the right side of the card and then carefully colored my image. I used V15, V12, BV00, and BV0000 to color the purple parts. The center of each flower is simply Y04. The leaves were colored with YG01, YG13, and YG17. These are some of my favorite color combinations! I finished off my image by outlining it with C3, C1, and C00. The addition of the gray colors actually makes the image seem to pop off the white piece. That's my little tip for you today!

I adhered my white panel onto a white card base with some Be Creative Tape. The reason I started with a panel is that any bleeding onto the back of the panel will be hidden by the card base when it's fully assembled. This way, I don't have to worry about having all sorts of different weights of cardstock for when I'm coloring.

I finished the card by stamping the sentiment in Versamark on a piece of purple cardstock and heat embossing in white. I trimmed the the piece down and used my scissors to add the flagged end. The sentiment is adhered with foam tape for a bit of dimension on an otherwise flat card. I added a few sequins from a couple of Kennedy Grace Creations mixes - the purple from Morning Glory and the clear from Iced Berries and Mint Julip.

One Layered Card - Featuring Kennedy Grace Creations: Time To Blossom

Hey folks! I'm back to share a card from the Kennedy Grace Creations New Release! The stamp set I used today is the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . I really enjoyed the simplicity of this set. You could totally heat emboss this and do some fabulous watercoloring, but Copic's seems to be the way to go for me lately so that's what I did. I started by stamping the image twice on my card panel. The only masking I did was a tiny bit on the stem. The name of the game was to keep this super simple folks. As I said, I colored the images with Copic's. Another thing I enjoy about the Time To Blossom Stamp Set is that you could choose any colors you wanted. I chose red-violets and yellow-greens, but seriously peeps, whatever floats your boat and it will looks great! To finish off my card, I used a added a couple of hand drawn lines to the background and I stamped a portion of a stamp that is also in the Time To Blossom Stamp Set . That's it! Easy peasy. T
